IDC Showcases its 3rd Generation of Digital Radiography Technology at RSNA 2007

New CCD-based imaging detectors achieve highest level of technical performance

Calgary, Alberta – November 23, 2007 – IDC (Imaging Dynamics Company, Ltd.) (TSX: IDL) today announced that it will exhibit its newly released X-Series technology, enhanced product line and latest software developments at the 2007 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting in Chicago, November 25 – 29. This release is the result of more than 10 years of engineering research and development, and represents the 3rd generation of the most commercially successful digital radiography system in the world, with installations in over 36 countries.

The new IDC X-Series CCD-based imaging detectors: X3G, X3C, and X4C are digital alternatives to traditional film-based X-ray. The product line is tiered to provide high-quality, affordable solutions for each level of healthcare, from the largest medical hospitals to small clinics, outpatient centers and healthcare providers in developing countries or markets where funding is limited.

The new technology provides the following advances:
• Higher sensitivity and amplified dynamic range
• Anti-blooming for better image quality, reduced distortion and very low noise
• Lateral Overflow Drain to eliminate saturation artifacts
• Enhanced soft tissue imaging without compromising bone detail
• Significant increase in imaging performance

According to Mr. Robin Winsor, IDC Chief Technology Officer and inventor, “This product series is unique to the industry and sets a new standard for technical performance, combining our proven CCD technology with the latest in CCD and imaging components. The advancements we have made to our core imaging technology are a major step forward for IDC and the science of digital imaging.”

“Since the X-Series was launched, we have received the highest level of order-taking in the company’s history, contributing to another record year in growth for IDC,” said IDC President and CEO, Darryl Stein. “Healthcare facilities from around the globe that are making the transition to digital x-ray have embraced the high image quality and value.”

The new X-Series has been shipped and installed across the United States, Canada, China, Korea and most recently into Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela.
