IDC HITS MILESTONE IN LATIN AMERICACalgary, Alberta – September 19th, 2007 – IDC (Imaging Dynamics Company, Ltd.) (TSX: IDL), announced that the company has recently completed its 50th shipment of its CCD based digital radiography (DR) technology to Latin American, with recent installations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. Overview IDC recently opened its new South American office in Santiago, Chile to serve the region. Opening ceremonies coincided with Canada celebrating its tenth anniversary of the Free Trade agreement with Chile and a visit to the Country from Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper. IDC recorded the first three product installations in Santiago, Chile, that includes the Hospital San Jose de Santiago Centre for research; Clínica La Portada, one of the most important private clinics in the north region of Antofagasta and most recently, an installation at one of the busiest medical centers in Santiago, the Centro de Referencia de Salud de Maipu. In Argentina, two IDC systems are installed at Hospital Allende, the main hospital for the province of Cordova. This site is the first hospital in this Country to go digital and performs more than 12,000 X-ray studies per month. In Colombia, IDC collaborated with a number of institutions and hospitals to complete over 10 DR installations. Among them was IDIME (Instituto de Diagnostico Médico), the largest imaging consortium in the Country and the Hospital de Policia, one of the most prestigious hospitals in Bogota. Hospital de Santiago, recently installed the new IDC 1600 system with X3C technology. Located in the Dominican Republic, this 500 bed hospital serves as the newest technological hospital in the Country. IDC has also completed an agreement with PDVSA (Petroleos de Venezuela), Venezuela’s state oil company; and the main provider of health services to its employees in several locations. This agreement includes multiple DR installations at Clínica La Floresta, one of the most prestigious private clinics in Venezuela, and the Hospital Perez Carrreno of the IVSS (Venezuela Institute of Social Health), the largest public institution in Venezuela. In Brazil, IDC has solidified its relationship with Philips Medical Systems, Latin America with Philips recent acquisition of VMI, an existing OEM customer of IDC. Installations of the new Compacto Plus DR system from VMI are now completed in Bello Horizonte, Rio De Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
