IDC is committed to the continued innovation and advancement of its digital X-ray technology to improve the level of healthcare provided worldwide.Key Milestones in IDC History1991 - Digital X-ray system invented and developed by Mr. Robin Winsor of Calgary, Canada. 1992 - Winsor files patent(s) for the digital imaging technology and formed a private company. 1995 - Imaging Dynamics Corporation (IDC) incorporated as a Canadian company in May. In November, IDC completed a public offering of its securities and commenced trading on the Alberta Stock Exchange, now the Canadian Venture Exchange. 1999 - IDC acquired patented technology and associated intellectual property from Mr. Winsor, completing the transfer of all intellectual property rights related to Winsor's invention. 2001 - Name changed to Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd. in June of this year. New trading symbol (IDL) issued. In November, the Xplorer 1700 Direct Digital Radiography (DR) system was launched at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). 2002 - In August of this year, the first U.S. order of Xplorer 1700 shipped to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boston, MA. In November, the first Canadian order of the Xplorer 1700 DR system shipped to Prince George Regional Hospital in Prince George, B.C. 2003 - Two new products in just one year of production! The Xplorer 1500 launched in June and the Xplorer 1800 was launched in December. 2004 - In August of this year, the Xplorer 1600 was launched at the AHRA show held in Boston, MA. Later that year, an OEM agreement was signed with Beijing Wandong Medical Equipment Co. Ltd. (WDM), the largest manufacturer and distributor of X-ray products in China, servicing 30,000 customers through its network of over 80 dealers in Mainland China. 2005 - September 19. IDC is officially listed on the TSX. Prior to this, IDC was listed on the Toronto Stock Venture Exchange (TSX-V) since November 2, 2001. 2005 - IDC expands North American Sales team and launches the X2200 Dual Detector solution and the OrthoXP DR system designed specifically for Orthopaedic practices. IDC sets a stellar year for global installs and revenues. 2006 - In October of this year, the IDC executive team of Darryl Stein, Robin Winsor, and Karim Teja were awarded the "2006 Entrepreneur of the Year Award" by the firm of Ernst and Young in Alberta, Canada. 2007 - Frost & Sullivan, a respected independant research analyst firm, awarded IDC with the 'Technology Innovation of the Year' award for its Xplorer DR technology. 2007 - In July of this year, IDC proudly showcased its new DR technology platform, the X-Series; and software at the annual AHRA and RSNA conferences in North America. The new tiered technology offers healthcare facilities of all sizes the ability to customize their DR solution. IDC continues to demonstate it continued drive for innovation. 2008 - In September of this year, IDC was awarded the Deloitte 'Fast 50' award for its growth and standing as one of the top technology based companies in Canada. 2009 - IDC Announces its largest OEM contract to date with 300 Units Awarded to IDC by the China Charity Foundation (CCF). 2010 - In June, IDC announces its now largest OEM contract to date awarded to the company by the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) for its DR technology to be installed in over 600 counties in China over the next 36 months. 2010 - In November, it is also announced the IDC is recognized by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a preferred provider until 2015 for its DR technology and authorized to participate in Class VA65 tenders for this organization. 2011 - IDC expands its DR product portfolio to include Flat Panel technology as an alternate option from the Companys' proprietary CCD technology to meet the needs of its growing international customer base. 2012 - IDC introduces new Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. T.T. Lee upon the successful closing of a Private Placement in July. 2012 - In August, IDC announces it has signed its second large volume contract with the China Charity Federation (“CCF”) to supply its DR imaging technology. This contract to supply multiple systems is valued at up to approximately $30 Million which is expected to be fulfilled over the next sixty months and marks this as its largest volume and value contract to date. The first contract with the CCF that IDC previously announced in early 2009 was for 300 units of its DR technology which has now been fully delivered and completed. 2012 - In November, the organization poises for strategic growth with the appointments of a new Chief Financial Officer and Board of Directors. The Company establishes a business office in Hong Kong for the planned growth in this region. In addition, IDC hosts a booth at the Radiological Society for North America (RSNA) industry conference after a two (2) year hiatus to renew relationships with industy business partners, vendors, and both existing and potential customers.
